KA-1 is an airfield control aircraft for CAS(Close Air Support) aircraft. KA-1 was developed based on the KT-1 aircraft equipped with external fuel tanks and armed weapon systems. The KT-1 basic trainer has been operated in the Republic of Korea Air Force(ROKAF) conducting the tactical control and search and reconnaissance missions.
